: LAYING OF ANNUAL REPORTS OF STATE LEVEL PUBLIC ENTERPRISES
OF ASSAM BEFORE THE ASSAM LEGISLATIVE
ASSEMBLY
Sir,
I am
directed to draw your attention to the Section 619 A of the Companies
Act 1956, which provides that the State Govt. is required to lay
Annual Report in respect of Companies, where the State Govt. is a
member, with copy of the audit report and the comments or supplement
to the State Legislature.
The
administrative Departments of the State Govt. Companies are therefore
advised that laying of the annual reports of the Companies under
their control before the Assam Legislative Assembly be ensured.
